Warehouse / Parts Runner / Installation Helper About the Position Wyredreams is looking for a dependable, hands-on Warehouse / Parts Runner / Installation Helper to support our installation and service teams. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools, and interested in learning the residential/commericial technology industry. You will spend time both in the warehouse preparing equipment and materials and in the field assisting our installation technicians. The right person is reliable, takes direction well, pays attention to detail, and is willing to learn. Responsibilities Warehouse & Inventory Receive and organize incoming equipment, parts, and materials. Pull and stage equipment for upcoming installations. Maintain an organized and clean warehouse. Track inventory and notify management when supplies are low. Label and organize equipment and project materials. Prepare equipment and materials for technician pickup. Assist with loading and unloading equipment. Keep company vehicles stocked, organized, and clean. Assist with returns, shipping, and vendor pickups. Parts Runner Pick up parts and equipment from vendors and suppliers. Deliver parts, tools, and equipment to job sites. Make time-sensitive parts runs when needed. Transport equipment safely between the warehouse, vendors, and job sites. Verify that the correct equipment and materials are delivered to each project. Installation Helper Assist technicians with residential AV, networking, security, lighting, and smart-home installations. Help carry, stage, and mount equipment. Assist with pulling, routing, labeling, and securing low-voltage cable. Assist with installing TVs, speakers, cameras, network equipment, racks, and other technology. Use basic hand and power tools safely. Help keep job sites clean and organized. Assist with testing and basic troubleshooting under the direction of a lead technician. Follow installation instructions, job plans, and technician direction. Learn Wyredreams' installation standards and procedures. Qualifications Valid California driver's license and good driving record. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Comfortable driving to local job sites and suppliers. Comfortable lifting and moving equipment and materials. Able to lift approximately 50 lbs. Comfortable working on ladders and performing physical work. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Mechanically inclined and willing to learn. Organized and detail-oriented. Professional appearance and communication. Able to work independently when completing warehouse and delivery tasks. Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to take direction. Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus, but not required : AV installation Low-voltage cabling Networking Home automation Security systems Electrical Construction Warehouse/inventory Delivery or parts-running TV or speaker installation What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who wants to learn and grow with the company . You don't necessarily need extensive technical experience. A strong work ethic, reliability, mechanical ability, and willingness to learn are more important. This position can provide an opportunity to develop into a Lead Installer or Technician as your skills and experience grow. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials up to approximately 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods. Ability to work on ladders and in various residential environments. Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools. Typical Work The role will vary from day to day. Some days may involve organizing the warehouse and preparing equipment for installations. Other days may involve picking up parts, delivering equipment, or working alongside an installation technician at a customer's home.
