We are currently hiring for a Full Time, On-Site Apartment Maintenance Technician for a brand new affordable housing community in Palmdale

Someone who has experience working with new building systems, affordable housing and multifamily communities. Someone who is willing to keep the property clean, complete unit turns in a timely manner and be able to handle all maintenance operations. We are looking for applicants with the following skills: Apartment Maintenance Repair Experience Experience Turning Vacant Units Experience with maintaining a clean property and taking pride in curb appeal Appliance Repair Experience HVAC Repair Experience Plumbing and Electrical repair experience Knowledge of Apartment/Townhome Building Systems Ability to Work as a Team and Meet Deadlines Ability to Follow Company Policies and Procedures without fail Ability to Communicate Problems and Offer Solutions Ability to set priorities and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner Experience with 3rd party

Agency Inspections:

TAX CREDIT, Housing Authority, etc.

Daily Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Completing Work Orders Efficiently Maintaining the Property Curb Appeal daily

• Walk the property 2x per day Turning Vacant Units per procedure, in a timely manner Appliance, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing Repairs Drywall & Painting Repairs Conducting Annual Unit Inspections and following up to complete necessary repairs Working as a Team with the property staff Preparing for Inspections Offering Excellent Customer Service Following all company policies & procedures, fair housing laws, etc.

Ability to respond to After-Hours maintenance emergencies Picking Up Trash around the property, cleaning out trash enclosures Power washing trash enclosures and walkways regularly Responsible for Porter duties including but not limited to: cleaning common areas, laundry rooms, community rooms, rental offices, walkways, outdoor equipment, etc. Maintaining a safe, clean, organized maintenance shop and janitorial closet(s). Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday

• Friday 8:00 AM
• 5:00 PM Hourly Pay Rate
