Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Property Maintenance Tech-Piru for a direct hire opportunity supporting a residential housing community in Piru, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, completing quality repairs, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming living environment for residents. This opportunity offers a stable weekday schedule, meaningful work in the local community, and the chance to join a supportive property management environment that values teamwork, safety, service, and pride in workmanship. The right candidate will work closely with residents, management, and vendors while contributing to well-maintained homes, common areas, and overall curb appeal. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and basic carpentry.
  • Complete apartment turnarounds, make-ready units, and repair work to prepare homes for new residents.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, routine property inspections, and safety checks.
  • Maintain common areas, grounds, exterior spaces, and overall curb appeal.
  • Respond professionally to resident maintenance requests and occasional after-hours emergencies.
  • Coordinate with property management, residents, and vendors to complete work efficiently and with strong customer service. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay:
    $21 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Job Type:
    Direct hire.

  • Perform residential property maintenance, repairs, and apartment make-ready work.
  • Support preventive maintenance, property inspections, and resident service requests.
  • Maintain community appearance, common areas, and safe living conditions.
  • Assist with occasional after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience in apartment maintenance, property management, facilities, residential housing, or a similar environment.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall repair, general repairs, and basic carpentry.
  • Valid California Driver's License required.
  • Clean DMV record required.
  • Current auto insurance required.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, safety-minded, and customer-service oriented.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with residents, management, and vendors.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
