Job Summary Job Summary The Long-Term Substitute Pool - Pupil Personnel Services provides full-time virtual services for the Counseling department at California Online Public Schools when school counselors are on leave. This posting is intended to establish a pool of qualified long-term substitutes who may be contacted as assignments become available; placement in the pool does not guarantee an assignment. Working from a home office,this role supports students across all grade bands by collaborating with teachers and administrators,monitoring academic progress, maintaining communication with families, and ensuring ongoing academic support. Assignments typically will be a minimum of one (1) month up to five (5) months. During the duration of an assignment the substitute teacher will be expected to work full-time (40 hours a week). Substitutes work under the guidance of instructional leadership and collaborate closely with school teams to uphold high academic expectations and student success.
