TWO DAY TEMP ASSIGNMENT

Overview We are seeking a TEMP Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team, providing essential support in maintaining and repairing building systems and equipment. This role offers an opportunity to apply diverse technical skills across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures. This position is paid and designed to support ongoing maintenance operations during peak or transitional periods. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation. Repair or replace electrical equipment using schematics, hand tools, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters. Conduct HVAC system repairs including troubleshooting, filter replacements, and system calibrations to maintain climate control. Execute plumbing system maintenance and repairs, addressing leaks, clogs, or component failures efficiently. Utilize welding skills for metal fabrication or repair tasks as needed. Support building interior maintenance including painting, carpentry, and general facilities upkeep to enhance aesthetic appeal. Operate hand tools and specialized equipment safely while adhering to established safety protocols. Assist with supervising or leading small maintenance projects or teams when required. Maintain accurate records of work performed using schematics and maintenance logs for accountability and future reference. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate repairs or upgrades that impact building operations. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related technical roles with a focus on electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, or mechanical systems. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical equipment repair techniques. Skilled in welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and the use of hand tools. Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics. Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) processes within a facilities environment. Excellent communication skills in English for effective customer service and team collaboration. Supervising or leadership experience is a plus; ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid knowledge of building interior maintenance standards including HVAC systems repair and plumbing system maintenance.
