401(k) Employee discounts Paid time off Competitive salary Benefits/Perks Competitive Pay Career Advancement Job Summary We're looking for a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team! You'll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and routine turnover of apartments including painting and basic repairs. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maintenance experience. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they're operating efficiently and make any needed repairs Painting and repair of turnover units as the come onto market On call on a rotating schedule to cover after hours emergency repairs (normally 1 week every month or so) Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed Qualifications At least 2 years of maintenance experience Prefer a Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems 1 year of residential Painting for an employer experience is required Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends on a rotating basis Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
