This energetic role involves performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across building interiors, mechanical systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, and facilities infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with various tools and systems, and a customer-focused attitude to maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for all occupants. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components to ensure safety and efficiency. Perform repairs using hand tools, welding techniques, and schematics to resolve issues with facilities equipment promptly. Maintain plumbing systems through repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance to prevent leaks or failures. Execute painting tasks including residential painting and maintenance painting to uphold the aesthetic standards of the facility. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ohmmeters, schematics, and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems accurately. Supervise or assist with projects involving carpentry, HVAC system repair, electrical work, or plumbing system maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests efficiently and communicating clearly with team members and occupants. Lead or support team efforts in facilities maintenance operations, demonstrating leadership qualities and supervising junior staff when necessary. Experience Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) within residential or commercial settings. Skilled in mechanical work including welding, carpentry, electrical repairs, HVAC system troubleshooting and repair. Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, plumbing systems, and building interior maintenance procedures. Hands-on knowledge of electrical equipment repair and electrical work standards. Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of facilities equipment maintenance practices with the ability to read technical schematics confidently. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate tasks and provide customer service.
