We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients. The Aggregate Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining mining processing equipment in a state of readiness. Performs appropriate inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on processing and conveying equipment, and prepares required daily and weekly department operating reports.
Disclosed in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment by following the manufacturer's recommended service intervals and company procedures.
Maintains an inventory of regularly required replacement parts. Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments.
Reports required repairs or other findings to the Supervisor.
Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment required to address plant breakdowns.
Adheres to all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures in completing daily tasks, and completes all required paperwork in a timely fashion.
Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies across all work environments.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Required Work Experience:
Demonstrated experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction within industrial environments. Must possess basic mechanical aptitude and general industrial maintenance skills, including stick welding, arc welding, light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tool operations.
Preferred Experience:
Experience operating skid-steer loaders, man-lifts, and related industrial machinery.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators.
Employees required to wear respirators must maintain a proper seal where the respirator meets the face in order to pass qualitative and quantitative fit testing, subject to reasonable medical or religious accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
