Job Description

Maintenance Technician We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Maintenance Technician to support the operation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling equipment and facility systems. This role is responsible for maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, controls, and related equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore operations quickly and safely. Complete work orders, inspections, and maintenance documentation accurately. Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment. Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, or automated systems. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree, apprenticeship, or maintenance certification. Experience with automated conveyor systems, PLCs, VFDs, and material handling equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. CMRT, OSHA, or related technical certifications.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., and work at heights in an industrial environment. Ability to work in varying temperatures and around moving mechanical equipment.
