Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Experienced Handyman to join our maintenance team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across residential, commercial, and facilities environments. Duties Conduct repairs and maintenance on plumbing systems, electrical equipment, HVAC units, carpentry projects, and mechanical systems using appropriate tools and techniques. Troubleshoot issues with facilities equipment by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Perform electrical work including wiring, circuit testing with ohmmeters, and electrical equipment repair to ensure compliance with safety standards. Repair and maintain HVAC systems, including diagnosing problems and executing system repairs or replacements. Execute plumbing system maintenance such as leak repairs, pipe replacements, and system inspections to prevent failures. Carry out painting tasks for building interiors and exteriors to maintain aesthetic standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete various tasks efficiently. Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, ensuring timely completion while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including schematics updates, maintenance logs, and incident reports. Provide excellent customer service by addressing occupant or client concerns promptly and professionally. Skills Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in residential or commercial maintenance. Proficiency in electrical work including troubleshooting with ohmmeters and repairing electrical equipment. Strong understanding of HVAC systems repair and building interior maintenance practices. Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as plumbing system troubleshooting. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems. Competence in welding techniques for metal repairs or fabrications. Familiarity with facilities equipment maintenance including HVAC units, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and building interior components. Knowledge of maintenance painting techniques for residential or commercial properties. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English. Leadership qualities with experience supervising or mentoring junior team members when required. Ability to operate various hand tools and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters confidently.
