Pharmacy Floor Technician Pay:

$21.00/hour Position Overview This role focuses on preparing prescription medications for pharmacist verification. Duties include picking, labeling, scanning, packaging, and maintaining inventory while ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and procedures. Key Responsibilities Accurately fill daily medication orders under pharmacist supervision. Pick medications from shelves and storage areas. Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy. Notify the pharmacist of scanning or product issues. Process returned medications and recycle/dispose of them according to procedures. Prepack frequently ordered medications during slower periods. Package materials and products manually. Maintain clean and organized workstations. Replenish stock and supplies as needed. Follow HIPAA and all applicable regulations. Adhere to safety, attendance, and dress code policies. Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Perform other assigned duties. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to work at a moderate pace. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Illinois Board of Pharmacy. Preferred Qualifications Previous pharmacy technician experience.
