Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all occupants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC skills in a fast-paced setting that values innovation and teamwork. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, including electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting using schematics and ohmmeters. Conduct HVAC system repairs, including diagnosing issues with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units to maintain optimal climate control. Repair plumbing systems, including leak detection, pipe repairs, and maintenance of plumbing fixtures to ensure proper water flow and safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs and modifications on building infrastructure and facilities equipment. Maintain building interior by performing maintenance painting, carpentry repairs, and facilities equipment upkeep to enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams for electrical work or mechanical systems troubleshooting. Lead or assist with maintenance painting projects, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety standards. Support maintenance operations by managing maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies to optimize inventory levels. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or staff while maintaining clear communication throughout the process. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards within the facility. Experience Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with a strong background in electrical work, HVAC system repair, plumbing maintenance, and general facilities upkeep. Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, schematics reading skills, and ohmmeters effectively. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred for troubleshooting automated systems. Experience with residential painting, carpentry projects, building interior maintenance, and facilities maintenance is highly desirable. Familiarity with maintenance procedures related to mechanical systems such as HVAC units or plumbing systems is essential. Strong understanding of electrical equipment repair along with electrical experience in troubleshooting complex circuits. Ability to lead or collaborate within a team environment while providing excellent customer service. Prior experience with maintenance planning or leadership roles is a plus but not mandatory. $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
