Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled, experienced, Part-time, Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. Flexible hours. 3-4 days per week. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of machinery and equipment as well as general building maintenance. Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed
Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related concerns
General building maintenance and repair
Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
Experience:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role
Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Experience with troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
