Job description Monday- Friday 6am -2:30pm Description Logistics company in Morris, Illinois is looking to hire a full time Forklift and Facility Maintenance employee. The nature of the Forklift and Facility Maintenance position involves a variety of facilities related tasks, such as: external/internal building repairs, preventative maintenance and safety and licensing concerns. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below: Performs general maintenance and repairs on equipment, fixtures, systems, and facilities in support of overall building operations. Ability to diagnose and perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on a variety of powered industrial equipment . General carpentry and repair of facility structures as well as minor plumbing work. Perform monthly preventative maintenance visits for each assigned area. Order materials, update and/or create work orders and provide status updates. Maintain fleet of 70+ electric forklifts Coordinate with vendors to schedule maintenance work Other related duties as assigned Qualifications Requires completion of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). 5+ years' experience performing general maintenance and repairs on forklifts is required 2+ years related facility maintenance experience is required Technical skills and knowledge of general industrial maintenance - electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fabrication, machining, carpentry, plumbing, air conditioning and heating Basic computer skills are required for researching needed parts & supply orders Welding experience required High school diploma or GED required #PROD 1

Pay:

$30.00 - $32.00 per hour
