No relocation support provided About the Opportunity We are seeking two skilled Maintenance Technicians to join a highly automated dairy manufacturing facility in Vernon County, WI. This is a hands-on, multi-craft maintenance role supporting a 24/7 production environment. You'll play a critical role in keeping production, packaging, automation, and utility systems operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically and electrically skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working with advanced automation, and making a direct impact on production uptime.
Schedule Two positions are available:
Position 1: Wednesday/Thursday + every other Friday-Sunday Position 2: Monday/Tuesday + every other weekend
Shift:
6:00 PM-6:00 AM Weekend schedule rotates every other weekend What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the facility Maintain highly automated production and packaging systems Diagnose issues involving PLCs, VFDs, motors, controls, and automated equipment Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability Maintain pumps, conveyors, separators, pasteurizers, and other processing equipment Support instrumentation, calibration, and sanitary processing systems Read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings Assist with plant utility systems and equipment Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant production environment Partner with production and operations teams to minimize downtime Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and equipment reliability What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience Manufacturing maintenance experience required; food & beverage experience strongly preferred Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and automated packaging equipment Hands-on experience maintaining pumps, conveyors, separators, and pasteurizers Familiarity with instrumentation, calibration, and sanitary process systems Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings Experience with ammonia refrigeration, boilers, or wastewater systems is a plus Strong preventive maintenance and continuous improvement mindset Commitment to food safety and workplace safety Ability to work independently and effectively on a 6 PM-6 AM shift What's in It for You? $26-$33/hour + shift premiums Full benefits package Advancement and career development opportunities Work in a modern, highly automated dairy manufacturing facility Exposure to advanced automation, robotics, and pasteurization technology Strong team-oriented culture A workplace that prioritizes quality, safety, reliability, and continuous improvement Opportunity to contribute to a company focused on sustainable and organic production Why This Opportunity?
