Must-Have Skills:
Industrial maintenance in food manufacturing, beverage manufacturing, or CPG manufacturingMechanical troubleshooting: bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, conveyors, drive systemsBasic electrical troubleshooting (low-voltage systems)PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley & Siemens).Pneumatics and production equipment repairPreventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance, and emergency repairsFood processing equipment: mixers, cooking/cooling systems, conveyors, packaging equipmentWelding and fabrication (stainless steel, MIG/TIG preferred)CMMS experienceGMP, HACCP, SQF, 5S, and LOTO compliance
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing food processing equipment, packaging equipment, conveyors, and plant utility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production. The ideal candidate has hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment and strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
Job Duties:
Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on food processing and production equipmentMaintain and repair conveyors, dough and pasta processing equipment, cooking/cooling systems, and packaging machineryTroubleshoot mechanical systems including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, and drive systemsPerform basic electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairsSupport facility maintenance including basic plumbing, building repairs, and general upkeepAssist with equipment installation, line changeovers, and maintenance projectsPerform light stainless-steel welding and fabrication (MIG/TIG)Use CMMS to document maintenance work, repairs, and parts usageEnsure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, 5S, and LOTO safety standardsPartner with Production, QA, and Sanitation teams to support safe and efficient operations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food, beverage, or CPG manufacturingStrong mechanical troubleshooting skills in industrial equipment and conveyorsBasic knowledge of electrical systems and pneumaticsBasic PLC exposure (Allen-Bradley or Siemens preferred)Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawingsWelding/fabrication experience (stainless steel preferred)Ability to work independently and in a team environmentWillingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, weekends, and on-call support as needed Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
