Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasonsResponsible for the maintenance of the organization's physical operations including but not limited to refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, plumbing, water treatment, and electric systemsAssists in the maintenance of property including but not limited to offices, production areas, public areas, and equipment through completion of preventive maintenance programs according to specificationsResponsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment, building, and property as neededMachines include CNC lathes, CNC mill, bar feeders, centerless and surface grinding, band saws, manual mills and lathes, air compressors, air dryers, material handling equipment, electrostatic filters, hoists,Maintenance PM's for machines include coolant, oil, and filter changes, electrical inspections, calibrations, etc.

Low voltage electrical controls trouble shootingTrouble shoot logic controllers Completes daily Standard Work task lists and event reportsInterfaces with appropriate staff/managers to implement maintenance needs; ensures timely response to requestsAssists in the maintenance of proper inventory levelsAssists in fire and safety inspections corrects any discrepancies; ensures property complies with all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulationsAssists in maintaining waste disposal, including any hazardous waste such as acetone, mineral spirits, or solvents.

Performs other duties as assigned QualificationsQualifications and Experience High School Diploma, job specific training and equivalent work experience preferred5+ years related experience, preferably in a manufacturing, machining, tool & die environmentPLC, CNC, machine manufacturer specific trainingFanuc & Mitsubishi logicKnowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skillsMust have own tools, electrical meters, gages, calipers, etc.

Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistanceUse of ladders and scaffoldsWorking with parts of various sizes and weightsRepetitive shoulder/arm/hand motionMove furniture, materials and equipment Work EnvironmentMost of the work time is spent in a warehouse environment where temperatures are heated and air conditioned, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to highOccasionally outside weather conditions, year roundHandling of small amounts of general and hazardous waste. Hazardous waste includes solvents, acetones, and mineral spirits. General waste may include hydraulic oil, mixed water/cleaning solutions, and general cleaning agents such as soaps and detergents.
