Prairie Green Apartments is looking for a skilled and motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. Whether it's restoring a resident's comfort, preparing an apartment for its next move-in, or keeping our community looking its best, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional living experience for our residents. What You'll Do Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on apartment homes Prepare vacant apartments for new residents through apartment turns and punch work Troubleshoot and complete general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs Assist with grounds maintenance and overall community appearance Participate in snow removal and other seasonal property needs Share in an on-call rotation and assist with weekend maintenance responsibilities as needed Provide outstanding customer service to residents and team members What We're Looking For At least 1 year of maintenance experience , preferably in multifamily housing or a related field Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Commitment to customer service and resident satisfaction HVAC certification preferred Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and weekend coverage Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently What You'll Get We're proud to offer more than a paycheck.
