Job Description
Inspect building facilities to identify maintenance needs
Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to increase equipment reliability and up-time. Duties including cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating
Troubleshoot mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment using hand tools, and precision measuring and testing devices
Knowledge of welding safety, welding equipment, proper selection of type, wire, settings and material preparation
Suggest and evaluate new ways of working, layouts, tools, in order to increase productivity
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment
Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment and defective materials
Perform standard mechanical duties in installation and repair of plant equipment including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical malfunctions
Maintain clean and organized common facility areas maintenance/repair areas
Develop and maintain safe maintenance practices such as fall protection, PPE
Other duties as assigned Job Requirements
3-5 years of experience in Mechanical/Industrial Maintenance
Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and procedures
Comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications required
Skill in inspecting and/or performing quality control for projects
Experience with forklifts and other maintenance lift units to perform job duties
Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
Must have own tools required for the job
Physical ability to work in manufacturing environment to include bending, climbing stairs, crawling, working on knees, lifting minimum of 45lbs
Must wear steel toed boots that cover the ankles
Must be able to tolerate heights and confined spaces
Must be highly motivated with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and problem solve
Self-motivated with integrity to work with little or no supervision
Able to communicate well with all levels of personnel within the organization
Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment
Maintain an attitude of willingness to learn and grow in a team environment
Experience in some fabrication, welding, forklift maintenance
Must be willing to work overtime as needed
Schedule :
Mon-Thur 6:00am - 4:30pm o Overtime paid after 8 hours
Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
Weekends as needed Subject to change depending on need We are an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) company!
