Maintenance Mechanic Are you an experienced Maintenance Mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and keeping production running? Join our team and play a key role in maintaining the equipment that keeps our manufacturing operation operating safely and efficiently. Schedule Work a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts, giving you every other weekend off.
Available shifts:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (includes $2/hour shift premium) Benefits Shift premium: $2/hour for overnight shifts Relocation assistance available Excellent benefits package, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and more Ability to earn pay increases and advancement opportunities Approved job-related training and tuition reimbursement Paid holidays and paid time off Summary Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime Repair or replace mechanical components, including motors, conveyors, pumps, valves, and production equipment Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation Assist with production changeovers, equipment setups, and continuous improvement initiatives Dismantle, rebuild, and modify equipment as needed to support plant operations Follow all safety procedures and preventive maintenance schedules Qualifications Three (3) years of experience performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience through trade school or training Knowledge of hand tools and power tools Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot moderately complex problems Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature gauges, and pressure gauges Ability to read and follow basic blueprints, manuals, and mechanical/electrical schematics Experience operating test equipment and/or software Working knowledge of automated controls Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), hoists, and cranes, and maintain certification Preferred Qualifications Experience in paper converting, chemical/plastics processing, and/or packaging manufacturing environments Vocational, Technical, or Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology, Machine Maintenance, Industrial Electricity, Electro-Mechanics, Mechatronics, Automation Controls, Robotics, or a related field Experience in electrical and mechanical trades such as HVAC, PLCs, and CNC equipment Resumes to: Dianna Adams Dianna.adams@trscraftservices.com 832.206.8434
