Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician with strong electrical expertise to join our team. In this role, you will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on both facility infrastructure and specialized production machinery. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of electrical systems, and mechanical systems to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime. Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose malfunctions : Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures. Perform repairs : Fix or replace faulty electrical components, wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and relays. Interpret schematics : Read and accurately interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Conduct preventative maintenance : Perform routine inspections and tests on motors, control panels, and electrical distribution systems. Use diagnostic tools : Safely operate voltmeters, ammeters, megohmmeters, and oscilloscopes to isolate issues. Ensure safety compliance : Adhere strictly to OSHA, National Electrical Code (NEC), and company Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) regulations. Maintain digital records : Log all service requests, parts inventory, and preventative maintenance completion.
Requirements and Qualifications Education :
High school diploma or GED equivalent required; technical degree or certificate in electrical maintenance technology is highly preferred.
Experience :
Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience, with a heavy focus on electrical systems.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in low and high-voltage wiring, AC/DC motors, and automated control logic.
Tool Competency :
Expert familiarity with specialized electrical diagnostic tools, power tools, and hand tools.
Physical Stamina :
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.

From $18.00 per hour
