Job Description
Must be willing to relocate near Beulah, MI Must Have arc welding job related experience. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billboard Erector to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and dismantling of billboard structures across various locations. Your expertise will ensure that all signage is erected securely, complies with safety standards, and maintains visual appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and equipment, and contribute to impactful advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate is energetic, safety-conscious, and possesses a strong background in construction-related tasks. Responsibilities Safely assemble, install, and dismantle billboard structures using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation. Conduct site inspections to assess conditions and prepare the area for construction activities. Operate heavy machinery such as cranes or forklifts to lift and position large signage components. Perform routine maintenance on billboard structures to ensure longevity and safety. Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and meet project deadlines. Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent accidents on-site. Skills Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles. Experience with construction estimating, inspection, and site supervision. Strong knowledge of various construction trades including Steel erection, welding, rigging and tower climbing. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials safely. Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
