Job Description

Seeking:
Experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Electrical Technician for a facility with world-class uptime standards. Candidates should have expert knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and components.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the safe and reliable operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance, following diagrams, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. Diagnose equipment issues by observing machinery in operation, listening for abnormalities, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. Remove and replace defective parts by dismantling equipment using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools while inspecting components for wear and damage. Adjust, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and control devices to ensure proper operation. Minimize downtime by coordinating preventive maintenance activities with production personnel and monitoring compliance with maintenance procedures. Fabricate or modify repair parts using machine shop equipment and instrumentation as needed. Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns. Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing maintenance activities and equipment trends. Maintain technical knowledge by attending training, reviewing technical publications, and staying current with industry best practices. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all company procedures, safety standards, and regulations.
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Skills:
Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Strong electrical and mechanical repair skills Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics Strong technical aptitude and mechanical understanding Ability to safely operate a wide variety of hand and power tools Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills
