Job Description

Essential Duties:

Observes all safety requirements including wearing appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment). Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair sawmill machinery and production equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production emergencies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. Follow LOTO and all other mill safety protocols during maintenance activities. Other duties may be assigned as required. Education and/or

Experience:

High School diploma or GED preferred. Understanding of mechanical systems, tools and PPE Willingness/ability to learn on the job under supervision. Lumber experience a plus!
