Part-Time or Full-Time Opportunities Available Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the ongoing maintenance, reliability, and performance of one of our client companies. This position is ideal for an experienced maintenance technician who enjoys a hands-on role involving facilities maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and building upkeep.

What You'll Do:

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician , you will be responsible for a variety of maintenance and facility-related tasks, including: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance involving manufacturing equipment, facility systems, basic carpentry, minor plumbing, minor electrical work, and general facility maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and industrial equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility and work environment. Coordinate and schedule vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, services, and projects. Support equipment installations, upgrades, commissioning activities, and capital projects. Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to improve equipment reliability and process efficiency. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team-based projects. Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment documentation, and completed work within the CMMS system. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

5+ years of industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or building maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training, apprenticeship, trade certification, or education in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical systems, mechatronics, or a related field preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and industrial equipment systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documents. Excellent documentation and recordkeeping skills. Strong communication skills across departments and with vendors. Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests in a fast-paced environment. Why Join Us?
