Maintenance Mechanic II Location 2 Manhattan Drive, Burlington Township, NJ, 08016, United States Base Pay $26.00 - $32.00 / Hour Minimum Experience 5 Years Contact information Name Elizabeth Barker Phone (609)267-6677 Ext 1303 Email ebarker@otcbc.org Description Ensurepliance with established safety procedures for maintenance and operation of processing equipment, rolling stock, power tools, and facility systems. and verify Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space, Machine Guarding, and Hazardous Materials procedures when servicing plant equipment. Diagnose and repair production equipment, conveyors, balers,pactors, and facility systems. Ensure conveyors, balers,pactors, and processing systems are properly locked out and verified safe prior to servicing or repair. Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, ensuring stored energy is relieved andponents are secured prior to disassembly. Follow electrical safety procedures and ensure systems are de-energized and verified prior to servicing unless specifically trained and authorized for energized work. Perform stick and wire welding and fabrication repairs in accordance withpany hot work procedures and required fire prevention measures. Monitor and ensure adherence to the preventative maintenance schedule for plant equipment and documentpleted maintenance activities. Operate plant equipment (balers, forklifts, skid steers, aerial platforms, loaders) only afterpletion of required training and certification. Handle and dispose of lubricants, cleaning agents, hydraulic fluids, and other hazardous materials in accordance with Hazard Communication standards and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Use hand and power tools in accordance with training and safety guidelines, maintaining required guards and protective equipment. Promptly report injuries, equipment damage, environmental incidents, unsafe conditions, and near-miss events to supervision. Wear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe footwear, hearing protection, high-visibility apparel, and task-specific PPE such as face shields or respiratory protection when required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area to reduce hazards and improve efficiency. Willingly and effectively cooperates with OTC, The Department of Human Services, The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), and other licensing or state agencies or local municipalities in any inspections and investigations, upon request. Other duties as assigned.
