Property Maintenance Technician Overview We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to assist with the day-to-day upkeep and appearance of our residential properties. This position combines general property maintenance, unit turnover preparation, cleaning, grounds upkeep, and support of routine building operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, well-kept property, is comfortable performing basic maintenance tasks, and is willing to assist wherever needed to keep the property operating smoothly. Responsibilities Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the property, including common areas, hallways, entrances, stairwells, amenity spaces, and other shared areas. Assist with unit turnovers following resident move-outs and in preparation for new move-ins , including cleaning, basic touch-ups, and preparing units for occupancy. Perform routine cleaning throughout the property and address areas requiring additional attention as needed. Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash and recycling throughout the property. Assist during scheduled trash and recycling pickups to ensure designated areas remain organized and clean. Maintain exterior areas and grounds, including entrances, walkways, parking areas, and surrounding property. Perform basic property maintenance and minor repairs as needed in units and property. Assist with light painting, patching, fixture replacement, and other general upkeep. Identify maintenance or property concerns and promptly report items requiring additional repair or attention. Assist the Property Manager with property-related projects and day-to-day needs. Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and prospective residents. Follow established safety procedures and properly use tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies. Participate in obtaining quotes and working with Vendors. Qualifications Previous experience in property maintenance, building services, porter services, custodial work, apartment communities, or a similar hands-on position is preferred. Basic knowledge of general property maintenance and minor repairs. Comfortable using basic hand tools and maintenance equipment. Ability to perform cleaning and physical property upkeep as part of the regular responsibilities of the position. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining the appearance of a property. Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to day-to-day property needs. Professional and courteous when interacting with residents, vendors, and other team members. Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with property maintenance, cleaning, trash removal, and grounds upkeep. We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, and takes ownership of the condition and appearance of the property . This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys keeping a property clean, organized, and well maintained.

Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
