Job Description
•Seasonal Position •We'll train and can get you back for next spring Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Temporary Pool Technician Assistant and play a vital role in maintaining safe, clean, and functional aquatic environments. In this energetic position, you will support the installation, inspection, cleaning, and repair of pool systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in pool maintenance and aquatic facility operations while contributing to a positive guest experience. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will help keep pools in top condition throughout the season. Responsibilities Assist with routine pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and brushing pool surfaces to ensure optimal water quality. Support the inspection and troubleshooting of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, valves, and circulation systems to identify issues early. Handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to maintain proper pool chemistry balancing according to safety guidelines. Aid in the installation, repair, and maintenance of pool plumbing systems and mechanical components using hand tools and power tools. Operate company vehicles responsibly for equipment transport and supply deliveries within the facility premises. Follow safety protocols during outdoor work activities, including chemical handling and equipment operation, to ensure a secure work environment. Document maintenance activities, chemical usage, and equipment repairs accurately for record-keeping purposes. Credentials & Experience Clean Driver License Familiarity with tools and equipment including hand tools and small power tools preferred Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes Special Requirements Ability to regularly lift 50 lb. and up to 75 lb. occasionally and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the entire work day. Able to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time Able and willing to work six days a week, Monday through Saturday, throughout pool season (April through end of October) Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
