Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Porter / General Cleaning & Maintenance professional to keep our facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring a tidy environment by performing cleaning tasks, basic maintenance, and upkeep activities across various areas of our premises. Duties Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards Assist with minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, or tightening fixtures to ensure operational efficiency Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored properly and in good working condition Support setup and breakdown for events or meetings by moving furniture and equipment as needed Report any significant maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate team members Follow health and safety protocols consistently to create a secure environment for all occupants Skills Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and maintenance tasks Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift Excellent communication skills for reporting issues clearly and working collaboratively with team members Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and maintenance activities Reliable work ethic with punctuality and a positive attitude toward teamwork
