GED Full Job Description Position Summary:
You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks in residential apartment communities. This role ensures the property is well-maintained, functional, and provides a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to maintenance service requests, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry repairs Perform routine preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems Prepare apartments for new residents by completing unit turns, including painting, drywall repair, fixture installation, and general maintenance Assist with emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours on-call rotation as needed Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and recommend solutions Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and management Qualifications High school diploma or GED Ability to read and write in English Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively A proactive and energetic approach to work Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, work in various weather conditions, and climb ladders or stairs Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) Join our team and contribute to creating a remarkable living experience for our residents!
