Dependable and hands-on Maintenance Staff to oversee the daily maintenance needs and property operations of a residential apartment complex in Bradford, PA. Compensation is based on experience. This role combines property management responsibilities with on-site maintenance duties. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of working independently to ensure the property remains safe, clean, and well-maintained for all tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks, including but not limited to light plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting Coordinate and conduct apartment turnovers, including painting, repairs, and cleaning as needed Monitor property grounds and common areas for safety, cleanliness, and repair needs Clean property grounds - snow removal, mowing and weeding Handle tenant maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Maintain supply inventory and tools, and ensure equipment is in working order Assist with contractor coordination for major repairs or projects Communicate regularly with ownership and office staff regarding property conditions, unit status, and tenant concerns Conduct routine inspections of units and common areas Support lease enforcement and property rules by reporting concerns to management Assis with trash/recycling area upkeep Qualifications Prior experience in property maintenance, general contracting, or a related trade preferred Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing, standing for extended periods) Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Compensation / Benefits •
Pay:
