Job Description

Description:
The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
Responsibilities Support the CARE values of the organization. Commit to producing a quality product for our customers. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic. Perform typical maintenance tasks to support the maintenance department and the facility. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Must be able to read and interpret drawings, sketches, instructions and engineered drawings. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and be comfortable working in a team environment. Will be required to perform non-maintenance duties as requested, directed or assigned. Must at all time follow proper lockout/tagout procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must have good verbal and written communication skills. The ability to read blueprints and schematics. Have a safety mindset. Must be able to complete tasks as directed with minimal supervision.
