At Nekoosa, our manufacturing operations typically run Monday-Friday, which means weekends are generally reserved for maintenance activities, projects, and occasional on-call facility support. Your Impact As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in keeping our production equipment safe, reliable, and efficient. You'll help us: Drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement with a goal of zero incidents Improve equipment reliability and preventive maintenance performance Reduce downtime through fast, effective troubleshooting and repairs Maintain compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and 5S practices Support maintenance projects and continuous improvement initiatives What You'll Be Doing Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated production equipment using electro-mechanical skills. Diagnose and repair PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), pumps, motors, sensors, and power distribution systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime. Read electrical schematics, manuals, and technical drawings to identify and resolve issues. Document maintenance work accurately in the CMMS system. Support shutdowns, maintenance projects, and reliability improvements. What You'll Bring 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Maintenance certification, technical coursework, or equivalent training. Knowledge of electronic control systems, PLCs, motors, drives, and industrial electrical systems. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
