What You'll Do As a Lead Technician, you'll install, troubleshoot, and commission commercial low-voltage systems while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring every project is completed safely, professionally, and to the highest standards. Systems You'll Work On Fire Alarm Systems Access Control Systems CCTV & Video Surveillance Intrusion Alarm Systems Structured Cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A) Fiber Optic Cabling Network Infrastructure Commercial Security System Upgrades Tenant Improvements New Construction Projects Responsibilities Lead commercial installation projects from start to finish Install, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling Install and commission fire alarm systems Install and troubleshoot access control systems Install IP camera and video surveillance systems Read blueprints, one-line diagrams, and engineered drawings Test, troubleshoot, and document completed systems Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Mentor junior technicians Deliver exceptional customer service Qualifications We're looking for experienced professionals with: 5+ years of commercial low-voltage experience Fire alarm installation and service experience Access control experience CCTV experience Structured cabling and fiber optic experience Strong networking knowledge Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics Excellent troubleshooting skills Valid California driver's license Manufacturer certifications are a plus, but we'll help the right candidate earn them.
