Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Access Control Lead Technician is in a lead role and provides support for escalated customer situations, direction, and leadership on special projects, assists and mentors other technicians and helps with the overall installation and service workload as assigned.
Required skills:
Installation of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Perform installation and verification activities on Security related equipment for medium to large installations, including cable and equipment installing, programming, testing and commissioning Programming, set-up, and testing systems Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, and specifications Complete "As Built" drawings upon the completion of the project Installation of Cat6, Cat6a low voltage cable. Pulling and routing Cat6, Cat6a in new and existing commercial environments. Installation of outlets, pulling cable, fire stopping, and termination including organizing, dressing, and labeling cables to industry standards. Installation of support structures such as ladders, racks, and J-hooks. Installing conduit, coring, or trenching Experience installing voice and data systems in commercial environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Lead multiple projects concurrently Ensure projects come in on time and on or under budget Manage project documentation
  • includes daily reports Manage Technicians on site Manage materials for assigned projects Interface with Project Manager for scope clarification Interface with Management for accountability Coordinate with PM for Scheduling Conduct training and job site safety meetings as needed Conduct final job walks and obtains customer sign-off Responsible for submitting final project documentation to Management Attend project construction meetings as required Flexibility with schedule to available to work nights & weekends.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry in a Access Control/Low Voltage Lead Technician role. Can be a combination of training, education and/or relevant work experience. Trade Certifications is a plus.
