Job Description Job Description Cable Technician - Xfinity Contractor (1099) General Cable LLC is seeking experienced and motivated 1099 Cable Technicians to perform residential Xfinity cable and internet installations. Responsibilities Install and service Xfinity cable, internet, modem, and TV equipment. Run and connect coaxial/drop cable from poles to residential properties. Climb ladders and utility poles when required. Troubleshoot signal, connectivity, and equipment issues. Complete installations according to Xfinity quality and safety standards. Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service. Complete assigned jobs on time and accurately document completed work. Requirements Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions. Ability to safely use a 28-foot ladder and climb poles when required. Basic knowledge of cable, internet, or telecommunications installation preferred. Strong work ethic, reliability, and good customer-service skills. Must be able to pass required background and/or screening requirements. Compensation 1099 Independent Contractor - approximately $1,200-$2,000+ per week , depending on completed work and performance.
