Job Description
RF Cable Assembly - Solder Technician Reports to:
Assembly Manager Pre-Requisites:
- 3-5 years of experience in producing RF coaxial cable assemblies (required).
- IPC-620, J-Std-001 certifications a big plus.
- Experience with soldering, Schleuniger strip equipment & RF VNA testing.
- Experience with quality measurement tools; drop indicator, caliper, micrometer, etc.

- A successful candidate is a self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail and quality standards is critical to job/team success
- Receives direct work direction from Manager
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- RF / Coax cable assembly - hand solder, stripping, crimping, heat shrink, etc.
- Work alongside other cable assemblers in all work cells to meet production needs, wire stripping, tin dipping, soldering, crimping & labelling, testing, etc.
- Utilize assembly tools / fixtures such as arbor presses and captivation equipment.
- Read, interpret, and follow basic drawings, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures.
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility.
- Required to be able to read documents and computer screens.
- Occasional exposure to shipping and receiving elements such as dust, and noise.
