Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various technologies. This role is essential for ensuring the proper functioning of systems such as alarms, CCTV, and surveillance equipment. The Low Voltage Technician will work closely with clients and team members to deliver high-quality service and support. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including alarms, CCTV, and surveillance equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs. Conduct system design assessments to determine the best solutions for client needs. Troubleshoot issues with existing systems and implement effective solutions. Utilize remote access software for system monitoring and diagnostics. Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure project completion on time. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site. Experience A certificate in low voltage technology or a related field is preferred. Proven experience working with low voltage electrical systems is essential. Familiarity with alarm systems, CCTV installations, and surveillance technology is highly desirable. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the installation of low voltage systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
