We are looking for a coax splicer the in Leland area of North Carolina to help with our current workload and high split projects. This position requires travel.

Job Responsibilities:

Drive a company bucket truck Troubleshoot aerial and underground coaxial cable Identify cable sizes and tap values Work in some back lot easements with a ladder Identify shorts in coax cable, optimize Hub to Nodes, and complete

Node Splits Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years' experience as a mainline coax splicer. Must have at least 2 years' experience with RF meter and core drilling. Must be able to read prints and other types of engineering documents. Must have the ability to install, terminate, splice, and troubleshoot coax mainline cable. Must be able to drive and work in a bucket truck (CDL is not required but preferable). Good driving record Must be able to work day or nights, with occasional overnight travel. Must be willing to work on-call every 3rd week. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be very conscientious, accurate, detail oriented and self-motivated. Must be proficient with Internet and MS Office applications. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and climb a ladder. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
