This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of network infrastructure, security systems, and communication platforms across diverse environments. As a leader in this field, you will guide a team of technicians, coordinate projects, and uphold the highest standards of safety and technical excellence. Your expertise will drive the successful deployment of fiber optic systems, structured cabling, and telecommunication solutions that keep organizations connected and secure. Responsibilities Lead the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of network cabling including Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic systems, and low-voltage electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance. Oversee the setup and configuration of networking equipment such as Cisco routers, switches, VoIP systems, and Ethernet networks. Conduct fiber splicing operations and fiber optic systems installation with precision using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment. Perform comprehensive system diagnostics using advanced tools to identify issues with telecommunications systems, equipment troubleshooting, and network wiring. Manage schematics interpretation for complex wiring diagrams and communication system layouts to ensure accurate implementation. Supervise field service activities including equipment repair, maintenance of CCTV cameras, radio frequency (RF) testing, and telecommunications testing equipment calibration. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating technical solutions clearly to clients and ensuring their operational needs are met efficiently. Ensure all work complies with industry standards such as NEC (National Electrical Code), safety protocols, and local regulations. Skills Extensive knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), Ethernet configurations, and network installation procedures. Proficiency in handling telecommunication systems such as VoIP, telephony setups, radio frequency testing, and structured cabling installation (Cat5/Cat6). Strong experience with fiber splicing techniques, fiber optic system installation, and troubleshooting fiber optic networks. Familiarity with schematics reading for cabling layouts and electrical wiring diagrams; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, cable testers, and telecommunications testing equipment for precise diagnostics. Ability to operate hand tools safely for cable termination, equipment mounting, and electrical wiring tasks involving AC/DC electrical systems. Knowledge of IT hardware components including computer hardware setup and maintenance to support network infrastructure. Experience with Cisco routers or similar networking hardware; understanding of network security principles is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to resolving client issues promptly while maintaining professionalism. Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams on large-scale projects involving low-voltage electrical wiring or telecommunication system installations.
