MUST HAVE OWN TRUCK OR VAN FOR POSITION

You do not need experience to be considered but it is preferred, we do 3-4 weeks of on the job shadowing. Shifts/Schedule will be discussed during the interview. Summary Installs, terminates, tests, and troubleshoots communications cable systems by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Coax and fiber Work Pulls cables, such as coaxial, twisted pair, and other cable types, through conduit, above ceilings, through crawl spaces, and between floors. Installs modular connectors for data and telephone users. Uses cable testing equipment to troubleshoot problems. Provides new users and existing users with cable and modular connections, and relocates cable connections for existing users. Installs user-end equipment, such as set top boxes, cable modems, routers, and telephony equipment Eligibility Requirements Clean background check, with no felonies in the last 10 years and no misdemeanor within 3 years. No open warrants. Clean driving record Truck, van, or SUV in good working condition to work out of. Valid vehicle insurance and driver's license. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug tests while employed.
