Garcom Inc. is looking to hire an Entry-Level Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. No prior low-voltage experience is required, but experience is preferred. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, motivated, and willing to learn. This position will support commercial low-voltage projects including structured cabling, fiber optics, CAT6/CAT6A, inside plant cabling, outside plant cabling, cameras, access control, racks, pathways, and other technology systems. This is not a temporary labor position we are looking for someone who wants to learn a trade and grow with the company. Responsibilities Assist with installation of CAT6, CAT6A, fiber optic, and low-voltage cabling Pull, route, label, dress, and support cable Assist with terminations, testing, and troubleshooting Install faceplates, jacks, patch panels, racks, cabinets, cable tray, J-hooks, and pathway supports Support ISP and OSP cabling work Assist with camera, access control, alarm, and other low-voltage system installations Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow jobsite safety requirements and company standards Work with lead technicians and project managers to complete projects on schedule Preferred Experience Experience is not required, but the following is a plus: Construction, electrical, telecom, cabling, security, or IT field experience Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
