Job Description

Pay:

$52000-$72800 Salary Job description: Position Overview We are currently looking to add a technician to assist with daily service and installation work. This position is hands-on and field-based, working directly on job sites across the DFW area and occasionally throughout Texas. Responsibilities Install, service, and upgrade security camera and low-voltage systems Run and terminate data cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber is a plus) Assist with prewire, trim-out, and finish-out phases of commercial projects Troubleshoot system and network issues Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Provide a high level of customer service on every job Work from ladders, lifts, and in commercial/industrial environments Requirements Minimum 1 year experience in low voltage or data cabling Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Comfortable working on ladders and lifts Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Preferred (but not required) Experience with security cameras, access control, or networking Experience with large cabling projects or data centers Basic understanding of IP networking Work Environment & Benefits Monday-Friday schedule (weekends as needed) Flexible hours depending on project needs On-the-job training and advancement opportunities Casual work environment Opportunity to grow into higher-level technician roles About Us Extreme Technology & Security is a Texas-based security and low-voltage company with over 26 years of experience serving commercial and enterprise clients.
