Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment and vehicles, including construction machinery, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and transportation vehicles. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our fleet and machinery. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, air brakes, and other key components using OEM schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and construction machinery to ensure operational efficiency. Fabricate parts or modify existing components as needed to meet specific repair requirements using welding and hand tools. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues related to suspension systems, alignment problems, HVAC systems, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting. Service and repair farm machinery, industrial equipment, and construction machinery with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. Perform tire service, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and general vehicle maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles. Maintain accurate service records, follow safety protocols diligently, and ensure all repairs meet OEM specifications. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance procedures. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and troubleshooting heavy equipment issues. Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other maintenance apparatuses. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment. Knowledge of construction equipment servicing including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, HVAC systems, suspension systems, air brakes, hydraulics and transmissions. Experience working with OEM parts and familiarity with construction machinery maintenance standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Pay:

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
