Strong computer diagnostic ability is mandatory. This is not an entry-level or apprentice position.
Responsibilities:
Independently diagnose and repair Freightliner, Volvo, and other Class 8 trucks Connect diagnostic equipment; read and interpret fault codes, live data, and test results Diagnose engine, electrical, wiring, cooling, brake, suspension, and aftertreatment/emissions problems Perform diesel engine repair, removal, installation, and major mechanical work Read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical bulletins Document inspections, diagnostic findings, repairs, and parts accurately
Required Qualifications:
Proven heavy-duty diesel truck repair experience Must be able to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently Hands-on experience with computerized truck diagnostic tools and software Experience with Freightliner and Volvo trucks Able to communicate in English and read English diagnostic information and service manuals Must be authorized to work in the United States Reliable, responsible, and committed to quality repairs
Preferred Experience:
Detroit DiagnosticLink Volvo Premium Tech Tool (PTT) Cummins INSITE JPRO, Jaltest, or TEXA Allison DOC Detroit, Cummins, Volvo, or Mack engines ASE or manufacturer certifications

Full-time W-2 position
Pay:
