The Candidate will be expected to work in team and independent environments, have a high level of interpersonal skills, and a strong, professional work ethic. Responsibilities and Duties Works under limited supervision to accomplish assigned tasks. Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services. Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment. Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs. Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns. Conducts safety checks on vehicles. Completes required paperwork accounting for repair times. Reviews and completes repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Special Considerations/Requirements:

Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic experience Able to work in varying weather conditions Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Occasional weekend work. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required. Work Environment Listed below are key points regarding environmental demands and work environment of the job.
