lo esperamos We are seeking a hi ghly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity of machinery used across construction sites, industrial operations, and transportation fleets. Responsibilities Perform detailed diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and air brake components using OEM schematics and advanced diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other construction machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation. Fabricate parts or modify existing components using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific operational needs. Troubleshoot equipment issues including suspension systems, HVAC units, electrical wiring, and hydraulic failures to minimize downtime. Service and repair farm machinery, industrial equipment, power tools, tire replacements, brake repairs, alignment adjustments, and HVAC systems. Maintain comprehensive service records and detailed documentation of repairs performed for accountability and future reference. Assist in heavy lifting tasks and perform routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical diagnostics, and heavy equipment operation. Proficiency with schematics, OEM manuals, electrical systems troubleshooting, and automotive diagnostics tools. Skilled in welding, soldering, equipment assembly, fabrication techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining a focus on safety protocols at all times. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and clients.
