Central Office Qualifications:

Must have high school diploma or GED Equivalent
Must have or obtain a LA commercial driver's license (CDL);
Must be able to handle the physical requirements of the position
Two (2) years of mechanic experience preferred

Job Duties:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair gas and diesel vehicles; including damaged mechanical body and interior bus parts
Ensure that the buses meet federal, state, and local safety requirements
Inspect school buses and sign forms indicating compliance with state requirements provided by law
Perform prescribed maintenance program of the bus fleet as implemented by the Transportation Supervisor or designee
Maintain and complete work orders with work completed and parts used to repair or maintain vehicles assigned
Assist with accidents when needed
Perform related duties/responsibilities as required by the transportation supervisor or designee Submit your application through the Frontline Recruiting and Hiring Portal before the deadline of 12:00PM, Friday, September 11th.
