We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers. Conducts routine preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes. Collaborates with the repair team to diagnose vehicle issues and develop repair solutions. Maintains accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles. Repairs, modifies, and performs preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles as needed. Completes all required preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctions. Diagnoses, repairs, and maintains air conditioning (A/C) systems on fleet vehicles and equipment. Diagnoses and repairs hydraulic systems, including pumps, cylinders, hoses, valves, and related components. Diagnoses and repairs electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, starters, alternators, batteries, and electronic control systems. Inspects fleet vehicles to ensure DOT compliance, including brake maintenance and safety inspections. Completes all required daily reporting. Maintains equipment, parts, and supply inventories by monitoring stock levels. Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following established procedures, rules, and regulations. Adheres to all Company, DOT, and OSHA safety standards and regulations. Additional Required Skills Must have experience troubleshooting and repairing A/C systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical components on heavy-duty trucks and fleet equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics is preferred. Experience using diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting tools is highly preferred. Education High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience and Competencies Minimum of 2 years of fleet maintenance experience. Welding and body fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to read and comprehend technical reference materials, equipment manuals, and repair documentation. Experience with Microsoft applications and diagnostic software. Strong attention to detail. Professional, dependable, and safety-focused work ethic.
