Job Description
BEELMAN TRUCK CO. IS GROWING AND LOOKING FOR FULL-TIME EXPERIENCED DIESEL MECHANICS TO JOIN OUR EAST ST. LOUIS, IL TERMINAL.
Schedule :
2nd shift Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm AND every 3rd Sat 7am- 3:30pm
PAY :
$20- $30/hr. Based on experience Job Duties
- Diagnose mechanic and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and manuals
- Repair or replace faulty engine components like transmissions, brakes, and fuel systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid level checks
- Communicate effectively with drivers and supervisors to diagnose issues and explain repairs
- Maintain detailed records of services performed on vehicles
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and shop protocols Job Requirements
- Must possess own tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with your hands
- Strong understanding of Class 8 equipment in relation to DOT and TMC Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position
